Two recipes from my site involving truffle salt – this grilled cheese with gruyere and fig jam and these homemade potato chips – are featured on a round-up over at babble today. Check them out here! I am also in love with the idea of adding truffle salt to chocolate cookies a la my windy city {they are gluten free too!}…yum…

Just last night I had the most wonderful taro root chips with truffle salt and hummus at a little spot here in Seattle. I am so glad you posted this today because I was going to search for a recipe for homemade chips involving truffle salt! I’ll head over to see your feature now. 🙂
Oooh! That sounds exquisite! I love the idea of truffle and hummus together…Delicious! xoxo
Congratulations on the babble feature, I love truffle salt and LOVE how you have used it. That grilled cheese with truffle salt and fig jam is beckoning me!!
Thank you so much Suzanne! I love the round-up of truffle salt creations – they are all drool worthy! xoxo

Hi Maddy! Thank you for your kind words and for stopping by! Hope you enjoy the grilled cheese! Is there anything better than grilled cheese?! I think not! 🙂 xoxo

Thank you so much Christina! Have you already made the move!? How are things?! Hope you’re doing well and settling in nicely! xoxo
Hi Lindsay!
Yes, indeed we have already made the move … moved into our new apartment about a couple of weeks ago, finally mostly unpacked and just settling-in and slowly getting to know our new city and ‘hood. Slowly but surely! All in all, I am well and just looking forward to getting back to creating on a regular basis. All things in good time =)
Hope you are well, lovely, and thank you so much for touching base =)
xoxo
Hi Christina! Wonderful news! Can’t wait to see what you come up with in your new kitchen, with loads of new inspiration surrounding you! xoxo
Aw, thanks, Lindsay; me too! xo!

We just recently started putting Maldon sea salt flakes on our grilled cheese after eating an amazing sandwich at a restaurant that we wanted to duplicate. Now salt on grilled cheese is our method of choice! I am intrigued by the idea of using truffle salt (and fig jam)! Your grilled cheese flavors sound wonderful!
Ooh, I bet Maldon sea salt flakes would be incredible as well! I am a huge fan of putting extra salt on nearly every savory dish out there, so not surprising – sounds like you are the same and I love it! Thank you so much for your kind words and for stopping by! xoxo
